- Sign in with GitHub. While signup is open, the first sign-in creates your account. When it’s invite-only, use the signup link you were sent.
- Open API tokens and create a token. Name it after where you’ll use it, for example “Laptop – Claude Code”. You only see the token once, so copy it straight away.
- Add the server to your client with the command or JSON shown under the new token.
For Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http nurseshark https://app.nurseshark.org/mcp \ --header "Authorization: Bearer nurse_..."Add --scope user to make it available in every folder rather than only the current one.
For other MCP clients, add the server to their JSON config:
{ "mcpServers": { "nurseshark": { "type": "http", "url": "https://app.nurseshark.org/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer nurse_..." } } }}Tokens
Section titled “Tokens”Each token has full access to your projects, so treat it like a password. Tokens expire a year after you create them. Revoke one on the API tokens page and every client using it stops working. Each token can make 120 requests a minute, and an account 300 across all of its tokens.
